Innovational Scientific Projects Contest summed up

The results of the University Contest of Innovational Scientific and Technical-Scientific Projects are summed up. 24 projects are considered to be the best.


Лауреаты конкурса The Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Dmitry Yuryevich Raychuk presented the laureates with the diplomas on March 14. 


The Contest of Innovational-Scientific and Technical-Scientific Projects is held within the frames of the All-Russian Scientific Research-to-Practice Conference ‘Week of Science SPbSPU’. In a creative competition take part students, postgraduates and young lecturers of the University – the authors of scientific and research work of an innovative character. The work for the Contest is selected according to the results of section meetings held during the Week of Science.


The Contest is held for the following categories:


- «Scientific Results of Fundamental and Applied Exploratory Research»,

- «Scientific Results Having Specific Prospects of Implementation».


Each category includes 3 directions: engineering and technical science; physical science; economics and humanities.


Among the winners of the contest are the authors of researches on various subjects.  


For instance, the student of the Faculty of Physics and Mechanics Yevgeniy Borshkov applied for the contest with his research ‘Formation of Wavy Structure on Graphene Surface’.


Konstantin Zhukov, the postgraduate of the Central Research Institute of Robotics and Technical Cybernetics worked out the project ‘Stereo-Camera-Based Safety System for Transportation of Blind and Visually Impaired People’; Darya Sinitsyna (the Faculty of Physics and Mechanics) is the author of the project ‘Production and Research of Elastic Simulators of Blood Vessels’.


The postgraduate of the Faculty of Economics and Management Maxim Kabanov made a research on the subject ‘Assessment of Heat Supply System Efficiency in Heat Supply Area (by the Example of the Vasileostrovsky Heat Supply Area of Saint Petersburg)’. Darya Semyonova, the student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages studied the Internet-technologies in foreign languages guides as a means of forming of instrumental competencies. 


Natalya Maistrenko and Yevgeniya Vorobyeva (the Faculty of Economics and Management) worked out the project ‘Analysis of Ecological and Economical Efficiency of Eco-Cities Projects Application in Russia’.
