Seoul exhibition awarded projects developed by Polytechnic University scientists

The 6-th Annual International Inventions Fair SIIF-2010 finished on the 5-th December in Seoul. This annual review of developments and innovations in various fields of science and engineering is the largest exhibition event in South-East Asia.

650 inventions from 36 countries, including Russia were represented at the fair. Scientists from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbSPU) presented their developments on SIIF, too.

The project of SPbSPU scientists “The little-expenditure centripetal partial turbine” (S.N. Besedin, N.A. Zabelin, V.A. Rassokhin, G.A. Fokin, I.S. Kharisov) has been awarded with a first-degree diploma, a gold medal and special prize of the Republic of Poland.
