It should be noted that the leading structure for master training in the field of international business and entrepreneurship in the English language in SPBPU is the Institute of Industrial Economics and Management. According to V.V. Schegolev, IIEM associate director for the international activity and coordinator of master double diploma programs in Management, there are 18 students seeking the Master degree in the English language from such countries as Russia, Finland, Slovakia, India, China, Mexico, Turkey etc. The popularity of international educational programs is explained by their business orientation as well as training in global companies and participation in the specialist program (Russian and foreign) aimed at the real business operation. For instance, a new summer school "Global entrepreneurship" has recently announced the first enrollment and received 20 applications from Germany, Austria and Poland just for a week.

Besides, mutual short-term exchanges (week or semester) between Management Master programs of SPBPU and similar ones in Austria or Germany as, for example, video game tycoon "Global challenge" (20 students from Reutlingen, Germany and 20 students from SPBPU's master program in the English language met in the Polytech in May, 2014 and played the game which was modeling the situation on the cell-phone market for a week. -Editor's note .) encourage students to participate in such Master programs.
