Interfaculty Scientific Laboratory of Extreme Energy Release Astrophysics

ISL "LEERA" was established in the State Educational Institution of higher education "SPbSPU" in order to implement the resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation № 220 to execute works according to the contract № 11.G34.31.0001 signed by the State Educational Institution of higher education "SPbSPU", by Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, and by leading scientist Georgiy G.Pavlov.

Scientific group

Scientific group consists of 60 persons, including:

The scientific group includes members of five departments representing three faculties:


Department of Space Exploration of the Faculty of Physical Science and Technology

Department of Plasma Physics of the Faculty of Physical Science and Technology

Department of Theoretical Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Mechanics

Department of Advanced mathematics of the Faculty of Physics and Mechanics
Department of Information and Control Systems of the Faculty of Computer Science

 

The absolute majority of the scientific group members are graduates of LPI, LSTU, SPbSTU, SPbSPU. This includes the leading scientist, G.G. Pavlov, who had graduated with honors from the Experimental Nuclear Physics Department of the Faculty of Physics and Mechanics in 1967.
